Getting the scoop on the Juno Temple nude scene was what got me into Killer Joe, but I was really awed at just how well it stands on its own. The writing is razor-sharp and funny as hell, and the characters all have a King of the Hill-esque mundane relatability to them, despite the insane plot. I really could go on about all the great things about this movie, but I’d need another 20 paragraphs. At the risk of sounding like a pseudocultured hipster, independent movies like Killer Joe show us that it doesn’t take a massive budget and a hundred studio executives to make a movie good.
We have two nude scenes from Juno Temple in the film. The first is a brief dream sequence in which she disrobes and assumes some sort of combat stance. Full frontal nudity is present, albeit short. The second nude scene is the longer one, in which Matthew McConaughey – in what is hands down his most disturbing performance to date – orders Juno Temple’s character to undress completely and put on a dress in preparation for awkward captor-hostage first date sex. I couldn’t really fit this anywhere else in the text, so let me just throw it in right here that Juno Temple does not shave her punani. My life always gets a little brighter when I see full bush in films.
Gina Gershon also has a bottomless scene. In fact, it’s one of the first things we see. I’ll get to that in the next post, though. For now, here’s Juno Temple’s two nude scenes, with the second one cut into two to reduce file size and get rid of a long no-nudity gap in the middle. The GIF is on Tumblr, and the video clips and pics are below, capped from the freshly-released Killer Joe blu-ray, which by the way, is SO worth the money, drumstick blowjob and all. I’m serious. I’m not even gonna try to slip in some affiliate link. Just go and buy it.
