The real reason I got Alpha Dog, as I mentioned in yesterday’s post, was to put up Amanda Seyfried’s full frontal nude scene. The only other versions of it available on the internet are all very low bitrate, making a proper… um, “analysis” of the already blurry footage impossible. The scene is brief, dark, fast-moving and, for some reason, shot out of focus. Call me a cynic, but my mind tends to immediately jump to nefarious intent on the part of the director when I see something like that. Sure enough, there has been a rather disconcerting wave of fake nude scenes in film over the past decade, and with the exception of 2009′s Chloe, in which she had a blurry topless moment, Amanda Seyfried isn’t really know for frequent nudity.

All right, so in this scene, Anton Yelchin’s character lives out every 15-year-old boy’s most fantastical wet dream. He’s dragged by two smoking hot girls – Amanda Seyfried and Amber Heard – to a pool, where he watches them strip down to absolutely nothing. Then they all get into the pool and have a threesome. The most hilarious part is that this is based on a true story. Anyway, the shots aren’t exactly graphic, so we have to figure out what’s there and what isn’t. Before getting into the pool, we see a lot of nice sideboob and a tiny helping of ass from Amanda Seyfried. We also do get a front-side topless shot of Amber Heard, and even though she’s not in focus (fuck you, cameraman!), it’s at least clear that at this point, she is not wearing pasties. Observe:

The full frontal shot of Amanda Seyfried jumping into the pool bare-ass naked, however, leaves a lot of room for guessing. It’s impossible to tell if she’s wearing some sort of modesty tape on her crotch, or if she’s just shaved down there. Her ass is in clear view for the last few frames before hitting the water, though, so at least we have that. As for her melons, based on the bouncing while coming into the dive, we can say that she’s not wearing a skin-colored bra or something of the sort. What we can’t tell is whether she’s truly going au naturel. There seems to be a hint of nipple in one or two of the frames, but she may just as well be wearing a pasty, as we see in the three frames that Amber Heard bobs out of the pool later on in the scene. So what is the conclusion? Beyond Amber Heard’s tits (the first time) and Amanda Seyfried’s ass, the best I can come up with is, “I have no idea”. I offer you everything you need to make your own conclusion, though. Apart from the video clip and the GIF on Tumblr, the caps below, starting from the ninth one, show all 44 frames of the diving scene.
